While on a walk in Tel Aviv, looking for new fabrics for my design ideas, I came across this silk fabric "Stone Wash" of a deep blue color. How it shimmers in the sun, so airy, light and flowing! As if created to gently touch our skin. The idea of an elegant summer overall for the evening was born at once. I left the store full of hope and imagination. And that s when the phone rang, it was a girl by the name Maria, who wanted to know if I have a silk overall for sale. I was surprised and asked: “A blue one?” She answered: “Yes!” It was fate! We completely understood each other! I returned to the store and bought 2 meters of this chic blue fabric.
The overall was ready by Friday. That style with elastic waistband and a ribbon that gathers the fabric in the chest zone. It was that specific overall I had dreamt of in the store. And of course I called this model “Maria”.
When we don't resist and follow the stream, life offers us such presents. One of them was a call from the girl named Maria.
